TechKno Academy: Film Sound Design program offers teen participants an opportunity to choose their favorite film genre and favorite film of that genre. We then remove all sound design elements from a 10 minute clip of their chosen film and teach them how to replace the sound effects and music. Some of our teens were ambitious enough to also replace dialogue! Their work was so impressive, it’s not easy to determine if you’re listening to the original sound, or their replacement.
