TechKno Academy’s Film Sound Design program lets teens pick a film and genre, then gives them a 10-minute clip with all sound removed. They learn to recreate the sound effects, music and foley. Their work is so good it’s hard to tell from the original. Watch examples below. Students use industry tools like DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, and Logic Pro, guided by professional film sound editors, and leave with skills they keep improving.
